I believe we are all given ONE LIFE.
And how we live it is shaped far less by the big moments than by the choices we make every day.
The habits we repeat.
The standards we set.
The way we respond when life gets hard.
The way we care for our bodies.
The people we surround ourselves with.
The courage to change direction when something no longer serves us.
That belief didn't come from a textbook.
I lived it.
I'm Cecilia Fekeram — Cece — former elite athlete, leadership professional, mother of three and founder of ONE LIFE COACHING.
My work today may take different forms — coaching a woman to better understand her body, helping a teenager develop confidence and discipline, or speaking to a room full of people about resilience and choices — but underneath it all is the same mission:
To help people take ownership of the one life they've been given.
Sport taught me that talent is never enough.
I started playing basketball when I was eight years old.
By fourteen, I was training at one of France's most competitive women's basketball academies. At eighteen, I left France for the United States, learned a new language and pursued basketball at NCAA level on a full athletic scholarship.
I became a leading point guard and team captain, earned academic honours, was recognised as an outstanding female student-athlete and graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Basketball taught me lessons that still shape everything I do today.
Discipline when motivation disappears.
Resilience when things don't go your way.
The importance of the people around you.
The courage to keep showing up.
And the understanding that confidence isn't something you're simply born with — it's something you build.
But perhaps the greatest lesson came when basketball ended.
For years, being an athlete had been a huge part of who I was.
Suddenly I had to answer a much harder question:
Who am I without basketball?
Then life taught me what performance couldn't.
I earned a Master's degree in International Management and moved to London, where I built a career working with global brands including Nike, Allbirds and Gymshark.
I became deeply involved in leadership, people development, hiring, training and building high-performing teams.
And something became increasingly clear to me.
Whether on a basketball court, inside an organisation or in our personal lives, potential alone isn't enough.
How we understand ourselves, the choices we make, the habits we build and the way we respond to difficulty profoundly influence who we become.
At the same time, my own life wasn't a perfectly straight line.
I went through seasons that forced me to rebuild my relationship with myself, my body, discipline and identity.
Then came motherhood.
Three boys. New seasons. New priorities. And another evolution of who I was becoming.
After my second pregnancy, intermittent fasting became one of the lifestyle tools that helped me reconnect with intentionality around my health.
But what fascinated me wasn't simply fasting.
It was learning to listen to my body rather than constantly fight against it.
That curiosity eventually led me to deepen my education and become a Certified Fast Like a Girl® Coach, trained in the fasting approach developed by Dr. Mindy Pelz.
And eventually, all the pieces connected…Big Ideas, Real Impact.
For a long time, basketball, leadership, motherhood, health and coaching looked like completely different chapters of my life.
Today I see the thread connecting all of them.
Self-leadership.
Understanding yourself.
Taking responsibility for the things you can control.
Doing what matters even when motivation isn't there.
Learning from setbacks instead of allowing them to define you.
Making intentional choices today that your future self will thank you for.
That's why I created ONE LIFE COACHING.
ONE philosophy. Different seasons of life.
Through ONE LIFE FAST™, I work with women who want to better understand their bodies and build a sustainable approach to fasting, food, movement, recovery and everyday health.
Through ONE LIFE LEADERSHIP™, I work with teenagers and young people to develop self-awareness, discipline, confidence, resilience, communication and leadership — drawing heavily on the principles I learned through elite sport and leadership.
And through ONE LIFE TALKS™, I bring these ideas into schools, organisations, communities and events through real stories and practical conversations about choices, resilience, health and self-leadership.
Different audiences. Different challenges.
The same fundamental belief: how we live today shapes who we become tomorrow.
If this speaks to you, send me a message describing what you need and I’ll help you find the best option for your season of life.
